All prints and products are produced by professional photographic labs.
Mounted Prints
For mounted prints I use a high quality photographic lustre paper which provides less reflection than gloss when framed behind glass. The 12x8 inch print is window mounted to 16x12 inches using a bright white mounting board and comes complete with a backing sheet to support and protect the print. Finally, the finished product is wrapped in thick cellophane which keeps it all nice and clean until you are ready to frame it. Ideal as a gift and ready for framing.
Fine Art Giclée Prints
The inks and papers used in Giclée prints are archival, meaning they resist fading. For colour images I have chosen Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl, a 285gsm superior fibre-based digital fine art media that has the look and feel of a traditional darkroom photo paper. The bright white of Fine Art Pearl enables impressive contrasts and pictorial depth in colour photography.
For mono prints I having chosen Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, a 308gsm smooth, bright white, age resistant paper that has a 100% cotton rag content and is ideal for printing black and white photographs with impressive pictorial depth.
Canvas Wraps
Canvas Wraps offer absolute perfection using the latest premium fine art printing techniques from a professional lab. The inks used are guaranteed lightfast for 75 years and the 450gsm canvas meets the archival standards set forth by the ‘Fine Art Trade Guild'. Stretcher bars are finger jointed solid pine and manufactured from managed UK forests. Two coats of Museum Grade varnish are applied which provides protection from scuffs and moisture. Framing tape and felt bumpers are added for a quality finish and wooden wedges are inserted so the canvas can be re-tensioned in the future if necessary.
